It depends on where you live. If it is cold just overnight, you could put them in your garage. If your garage stays warm enough you could keep them in there on cold days also, but only if it stays warm enough to not hurt them. Otherwise you will need to take them inside to keep them warm enough to survive. Make some platforms with thick plywood and really good castors and you can move them easily to the steps to get into your house. Lift them up the steps and put them back on the rolling stand and put them where you want them. I have all my plants in large pots on these, and we were able to bring in all my hibiscus plants with just two of us lifting up the couple of steps.
I have the same problem and had to bring mine in so i bought rolling coasters for all of them. If you only have frost a few times a winter, you could cover them with an old sheet on evenings the weather man says expect frost the next morning. Our winters are long and cold, so I had to bring ours inside.
You can use a furniture dolly to move the pots if needed.
