A new window stool is going in, when Verizon hooked up my router they installed it in the kitchen and sat it on the stool. What's a good hack to hide the routers and keep in itx current location?

One issue is that they can generate heat and the more material they have to go through, the more signal they can lose. So, whatever you do have to allow heat to vent and wires to feed through etc. You could get one or two of those wood crates from the craft store to hide it in. Or a sturdy basket.

Metal would interfere with the signal and are not a good solution. A wicker or rattan weave is fine, the round materials resist heat better than flat grasses. They vent well and won't interfere with your router signal.

The router in a basket covered by some silk leaves around it... I doesn't get hot but it keeps the air from the basket and leaves.

i did this, too; an airy basket with a couple of small fake plants. perfectly presentable camouflage.

Just be sure that air can circulate around the router, If it doesn't you are going to be buying a new one, because it will burn up.
