if you would like to keep the new sink in the same place, take a measurement of the existing and go to a hardware or plumbing store to check availability of a style you like with the same measurements

Have you looked at the Farmhouse sinks? Many of them are sinks and pretty darn deep.

Really cool, contemporary, and look awesome!

Before you buy a deep sink, please consider how it will be used. I bought a deep sink and am in constant pain after doing the dishes. The extra depth causes me to stand at an awkward position and hurts the lower back. I'm 5'8". I suggest you practice the position with the depth before you buy. It may be worth it and it may not be. You're the only one who can make the decision.

I would rethink this ? I had one no I have had 2 one was many years ago a farm house sink. Then I had another and as far asI am concern they can keep them. Where are you going to put the pan or dish after you wash it ! On the counter top or one of those dish drainer you can get a very deep sink. But in a double one so you have space to drain

I bought both of my daughters a deep non-divided sink at Lowes. Check out their website. It is not a farmhouse sink. My daughters love their sinks!

When I got new Corian counters, the sink is Corian as well, with no seams where it joins the counter. I opted for a single well sink and I love it so much that I could never go back to a double sink. If I happen to need to wash dishes (have a DW so not often) I put a plastic dishpan in the sink and have plenty of room on the side to rinse, then I just put a towel on the counter and stack the dishes there to air dry. The big advantage comes when washing a large pan or skillet or oven racks because they fit and can soak if necessary. It is really nice to have the extra room to 'spread out' if needed. Be careful of getting a deep sink. My DIL (5' 3") got one and it hurts her back because she has to bend a bit to reach down to the bottom. I love not being limited or constrained by those small compartmented sinks. Go for it, but watch the depth!
