DIY vinyl kitchen backsplash idea
I want to know if cutting 12x12 peel n sticks into 6x6s and then using sanded caulk to grout would look strange. I want to go to the ceiling on the sink wall. Does anyone know if it would stand up to heat behind the stove? Other issues?

DO NOT put vinyl tiles behind a stove-if you have a fire the vinyl will melt and put black ash all over your house. There is wallpaper which will do the same job as you are suggesting. Also you use non-sanded grout on wall tile.

Sanded will scratch the vinyl badly.
