I had builder grade flat door cabinets. The cabinets were in very good shape and really wanted to update my kitchen on a budget. I added 1/4 in x 3in white board (used small brad nails to attach) to the doors making shaker style, lightly sanded and painted. Added new hardware. I will replace the dishwasher soon with black.
