Have seen teal or turquoise used with grey and black. Grey is apparently the up and coming color this yr. All white dishes and/or white and teal/turquoise would break up the blandness of the color combination. You could pick up accent colors in scatter rugs in front of sink or outdoor entry (if there is one). Scan Hometalk and decorator books at the library. Be patient, and you'll find just the right combination.
Your colors are very neutral and practical.Honestly all will give you there color likes. My suggestion it is your home ,browse through different websites for color inspiration.Eventually you will find your happy colors . Also keep in mind there are many ways to pop colors, throw rugs, towels canisters etc.
Take inspiration from what you already have in your kitchen cabinets. What color dominates in your dishware, decorative items and window treatments? Would a wallpaper border spice up the space enough for you? What kind of textures do you have? Can you contrast smooth surfaces with a rougher texture? (Maybe some wicker or rattan baskets on display, or rustic woven linens. Perhaps tin ceiling panels centered over a focal point.) To take the sharp edge off the modern design, can you add a vintage piece that you really like? A rustic pot rack or light fixture might soften the too modern feel.
You have installed a TIMELESS color palate...that leaves you free to decorate w your favorite pop of color. Be brave. Think about the color wheel...what color do you like...? You can use it with your window coverings...canisters, table cloths and towels...what kinds of dishes? (Just stay away from black dishes for actual food..it looks unappetizing). I would love to see a picture. It sounds great to me but I too lean more traditiona.
You can brighten it up by accessorizing . my kitchen motif is mainly fruit and flowers.Apples are prominent. Use whatever you like chefs with red bandanas,or rooster. maybe vegetables redpeppers onions celery etc color, color . a green plant somewhere maybe hang it. use silk greensand/or flowers. rug in front of sink. wth same idea something you like I have apples, pear. grapes. pot holder maybe a couple just for decor. dih towels I hve a small red dih drainer in my sink.
Check out Thrift & dollar stores. Big Lots you don't have to spend alot of $. I have abowl of faux fruit. Hope I helped.
Yellow

Hi look at Mc KenzieChilds for inspiration . All colors are available to your personal liking. Also look at ETSY ann Pintrest, search which items you want andy out will see what is out there. I am shabby chic so I would mix all pure primary colors, an amazing Vase in multi colors, a large Teapot sculpture. If you lean towards modern then choose your favorite primary color and buy 1-3 amazing pieces of art or sculpture .Home Goods is a great place to shop if a budget is involved if you have a budget.
Good luck

I'd go with a color such as teal and then accessorize everything with that in mind - teal/gray/white. Your kitchen curtains and accessories could tie it all together.
If you're still unsure of color, I'd go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy a few sample paints in colors you like or you'd think would go well in your kitchen and paint your backsplash so you can get an idea of what the color will look like with your cabinets and countertops. If you chose 3 colors and painted your backsplash in 3 different areas, it will give you a good idea of what color you like and matches well.
Let us know what you choose! Good luck!
Lots of great suggestions here! I agree with Cparisi76, a timeless blank pallet to do whatever you wish. Also as previously suggested, shop discount stores, Goodwill, thriftshops for accent pieces. I personally like to change things around with the seasons. Easy to do with kitchen towels and inexpensive items. I really love turquoise for spring and summer. At holiday time use the same color theme that you decorate with in the rest of your house. Another option would be to pick a color that pleases you and just start collecting pieces in that color. It will come together in no time! Wish I could take you shopping, we could have it knocked out lickety split! Plus if you are feeling crafty, there are SO MANY diy things to make yourself here on Hometalk.
