How can I change the look of my fireplace to vintage

Maybe you could take another shot from further away, can't see if there is a mantel, hearth etc.

You can either buy a surround, or if you're a true DIY'er you can faux this look with separate pieces from your local lumber yard. While the picture below has a very detailed carving you can simplify it with specialty trim. Please make sure to follow the fire safety rules I've attached. Good Luck!

It depends on how adventurous you are. There are places you can go and get antique tile and replace the tile on your surround with the antique tile. Look for places in your town that specialize in antique refurbished or recycled building materials.

hi. you might want to go what I would say is my lazy way out. LOL This is my way. The FUN way too. Take some very good measurement and grab a friend, a big cup of coffee, and start hitting the antique stores. First thing don't get caught up in the entire store if you are looking for this one thing. Ask the person that works there if they have at your looking for. If they don't they might have ideas, or can direct you to the place you need to be. On the way stop and get another coffee.
