How should I mount a barn beam on brick?

Any ideas on the best way to mount a 6x6x8 barn beam (fireplace mantel) directly on to a brick wall?

With that large of a beam, I think you're gonna need some pretty big bolts! Honestly, whenever I see beams installed like that, large holes are typically drilled through brick with metal dowels put into place, then holes drilled in the beam and hammered into place. You might need a contractor for this one...
