I need help coordinating with these items I'll be purchasing soon. What style dining table would look good with this sectional? Also, what other patterns would look nice with the rug?

I like to find color by looking in my closet or a picture to find color and style from what you have it a little dark slightly deeper yellow medium green or brick red. Hope this helps? Teresa

Go to Dot and Bo which is a furnishings web site. They have a table called The Never Board Dinning Table. It has simple lines and would go very well with your furniture. would then do light gray, yellow or white upholstered chairs. Taking the colors from your rug and bouncing them around. You are on the way to a great look.

I love that table! Can you share with me what chair style would look great with sectional. Also would you go with dark wood floors or light with this furniture? Thanks.

Depending on the space you have I visualize a rectangle shape table with high back straight chairs. In my opinion the rug has a lot of pattern so I do not think you need to add any more of that. Love the color combo with the gray and yellow very different. I think a Navy blue or a Maroon color would work in your area if you want to add other shades.

I would choose a natural medium tone wood set. Round table would break up all the straight lines you have going right now with the furniture and rug. Whatever you choose don't be afraid to add more color and pattern. As long as they are in the same color family and palette you can mix patterns. Get some paint chips in the colors from that rug and bring them when you shop. I'd get some herringbone chair pads in the dark grey for the new dining set.

Here is an example of mixing within the same palette. I love the textures and patterns

I would find a plaid throw, also decal the pillows or find two more in contrasting color, and a square coffee table maybe something wood and metal together. Look at second hand stores . You have s great start just need the touches! Then as the season changes add color ! For spring maybe orange , dec. maybe red etc.... Have fun!!!

If it is in the budget, I would use this rug somewhere else and get a larger one for this room. The key thing to remember for area rugs is that they need to be large enough so that the front legs (at least) of all furniture in the room is on the rug. If it's not in the budget, pull the rug more toward the sectional so that there is no carpet showing between the sofa and the area rug. Next, move the little round table to use as an end table. It is too small in scale. Find something larger like an upholstered ottoman that can be used as a coffee table with a tray on top, and is otherwise a comfortable place to rest your feet. We don't have a floor plan so I can't make thesuggestions for other furniture. The sectional is transitional in style and a great color. Grey goes with almost anything so you can change your accent colors if you choose to do so seasonally. We have grey and use turquoise and green in the summer and burgundy in the winter. I just change the chsion covers not the pillows. If you like a more modern look, I would choose a wood dining table and clear chairs, maybe even two different styles of chairs- two for the ends and different chairs for the sides. If you are not comfortable with something that modern, choose a traditional woood chair for the sides and upholstered wingback chairs for the ends. Look on for inspiration- you can search fpr inspiration and sources.
