I need a creative way to store seasonal tires in my apartment.

I haven’t been able to find any creative DIY plans to build something to store my 4 seasonal car tires in my apartment. Couldn’t the tires be stacked on their side to become a high top table base or why couldn’t I store them sealed in plastic under my bed. Or 2 tires on their sides, side by side under each couch in the living room. Surely I’m not the only one faced with storing a full set of tires at all times.

Hi Y! You're already on the right track by thinking up the ideas you already have. You could make the 4-high tire table and cut out a large cardboard circle of cardboard for a top, then put a large tablecloth or throw over the entire piece. What about using as end tables, covering in the same way as mentioned before. If you don't like the round look, search for square cardboad boxes to plop over two or three of them to make a square end table and store the other one under your bed if it fits. For something more sturdy as a top you could maybe cut a round out of thin paneling that's available in 4'x8' sheets o just cut in have for 2 pieces that are 4'c4' square to place on top of the tires. You could even buy a nice round piece of glass for the tabletop if you stack the three for a table (modern industrial) LOL! You got this! Let us know what you come up with!

You could stack them one on top of the other and then place a board over the top and then cover with a nice cloth.

Cover with fabric or a fitted sheet and make a cushion to go in the middle. All easily removed when you need to use the tires again.

    Hi Janice,

If there is someway you could cover the stack of them with a large box or wrap heavy paper around them and put a table top that would be really nice. The reason I suggested boxing or wrapping them is they have a smell or odor they give off, maybe it is just me, I don't know.

If you have lots of room, as a novelty you could lay down a tarp and grow potatoes in them.
