Under the bed storage boxes, shelves with bins, behind the sofa, any other "hidden" or out of the way areas like between the walls & a bookcase. Don't forget about below and above clothes in the closet as well.
Look for storage within your furniture. What about couches, ottomans and coffee tables that lift up and have storage inside? Shoe organizers take advantage of the insides of doors for extra storage.

Hi Yolanda. I am a big fan of space bags. You can put an entire set of bedding, in a space bag and change it from being 24 inches tall when folded, down to being 2 inches tall instead. That saves a lot of space. The reason I like them so much is because you can use them over and over. Spring is right around the corner and I will soon put our winter coats, gloves, hats, scarves, etc, into a space bag, hook it up to my vacuum cleaner and pull out all the air from the bag. Then I store it on it's side and put it in between my washer and drier. Approx 3 or 4 inches. Wishing you well Yolanda. Good luck.

I would use baskets and bins to organize items. Label everything so you know where things belong. Utilize under the bed storage as well as over the door storage options.
