Round vs. square bins
If you use round or oval bins/containers to store your stuff, you are missing out on some (lots) of space. Use square bins to use up those corners. The round bins are cute and all, but square bins will give you more storage.

I agree Lezlye - I put everything that comes in a paper bag like flour or plastic like raisins in glass containers that are almost square. -

I almost never buy any storage container that is round for that reasonToo much space wasted
