How do you sew covers for plastic outdoor chairs?
I'd like to cover my ugly faded plastic outdoor chairs. I thought of painting them, but I'd rather sew a cover that I can just throw in the wash when needed.
If anyone has a pattern, that would be perfect!
Thank you!

if you are good with sewing -- and I am NOT! but I have made 'patterns' using freezer paper ( white, waxed on one side and sturdier than newspaper ) to make patterns for things; you could also use an old sheet and clothes pins/bull clips to hold in place and a sharpie to mark the 'shape'...
These have to be customized - so you will have to make a pattern. BUT don't' spend too much as these are on clearance this time of year - so it may be less expensive to buy new ones. Also consider scrubbing these with detergent, and laying in the sun to dry. That may clean them up a bit.
An easy project for that is sew a pillow case for the size foam you will need. Fold the excess under. Then you can take off the cover to wash them
