How can I dress up this ladder?

I just made a rock flowerbed under the ladder hanger.We do not use it often but everyone comments it needs moved.
Put some tiny potted plants on the top like a shelf or hang some from it. Or move the ladder

can you hang flower pots from it? or paint/tie dye a drop cloth to put over it?
how about some lighting?
