You can attach a shade sail
A sun sail may be your answer. Available on Ebay, Amazon or big box hardware. Square or triangle. Attach to nearby wall or upright structure. Good luck

I agree! Shade sails are a great solution. Some creative people nave even made their own out of canvas drop cloths, muslin fabric. They also look great.
Don't know how much wind they can handle. But they can be tightened to withstand a quite amount of wind.
leave out for the season. You may need to remove if severe storm. Good luck
