Take a look online at polycarbonate sheets at Home Depot (Suntuf brand). Comes in different colors, including clear, this might work for you while offering waterproof cover overhead. A 26" x 6' panel is $15.35. Thanks cat, yup kitten hit the I pad. The green house panels are the same size as most sheet rock panels. They are double wall construction looking a lot like reed glass. I’ve seen fiberglass panels sag and trap water.Helpful Reply -

All those plastic type panels are made to shrink and expand. No way to seal them that we have fomind.Helpful Reply -

The problem is that you want the light so there are not too many products out there that can give you the light and be sturdy enough. Maybe the previous stuff was not installed correctly. You can buy any length you need and if you overlap at the sides, installing with the correct screws you should not have a problem for many years to come. I have these panels on my greenhouse and they survive lots of snow and cold winters.Helpful Reply -
