DG is generally used a base for laying a driveway. You would be better off just laying gravel and packing it down. Dig about three inches below grade, pour gravel down, and pack it down. Add more and pack till level with the ground.

Very informative, thank you!!!
Get a price to have the job done for you. Ask what would be involved and how long it will take and how many would be working on the job. Then you will have an idea what would be involved and whether you think it would be something you could do yourself. You could also ask if you were prepared to do the labouring work could you get a better price?
You can get the crushed rock delivered and kids spread by the dump truck. Rake it level and rent a plate compactor and compact the driveway. It will last much longer.
Thank you
Hi Kris, you could do this yourself if you don't mind some shovel and wheel barrow labor. Hope this link helps you decide, https://www.truegridpaver.com/is-decomposed-granite-good-for-driveways/#:~:text=Driveways%20can%20be%20made%20from,easily%20breaks%20into%20smaller%20pieces.
