Can I use spare Jiffy seed mix?

I was re-seeding the lawn and of course I ran out of topsoil. I found 3 unopened bags of Jiffy organic seed mixture in the basement and was wondering if this would be ok to finish the job. Thank you once again!

Not sure what area you live in , Chriss but I would either call the county extension agency in your area or go to a Home Depot or other nursery and ask them about using the Jiffy seed mix - if you are out of topsoil not sure how the jiffy seed wil work
Top soil would be the best choice. Gosh I hate having to run back to the store...
Yes it's just organic expensive soil/dirt with fertilizer grass grown in this will probably just grow faster &healthier
Hi Chriss, I just looked it up and it will be fine for you to finish up with the jiffy seed mix, we have the same type of stuff here in Canada, just wear something over your nose and mouth when working with the mix due to the vermiculite in it.
