Hi EMAN. I'm Cindy. You can do container gardening on the roof. When using containers, be sure to provide good drainage. A couple years ago I grew tomatoes in 5-gallon buckets. My husband drilled holes in the bottom of each bucket. Worked out great. If you don't have a drill, there is another way to provide drainage. Just put a couple inches of rocks in the container. Cover them with a few layers of newspaper. Then add soil and your plants. This way any extra water will sit it the rocks and not in the roots. Good luck EMAN.
