Paint it with something bright and summer-y. You can add a shelf to one of the walls and place potted plants to really brighten it up!
Paint it, then landscape it as you would for a house. Maybe a brick or paver porch, potted plants, shepherd's hooks with flags or plants, bird feeder, a little bench with a throw or pillows.
