Simplest answer is that you hang a gate on hinges. Do you have hinges? If not, have you looked into different styles of hinges and have some idea what you would like?

What kind of gate? Is this a garden gate, driveway gate, security gate, or one to keep a baby or dogs off of the stairs? Indoor or outdoor? What is it made of? Steel, wood, iron, PVC or something else? Was it factory made as a gate or is this a homemade gate? How heavy is the gate? Where are you planning to hang the gate, on a post, wall, or something else? Is there structure sufficient to hold the weight of the gate?

Give me a few minutes and I can come up with more questions. Your question really is not answerable in a way that would help you to get from where you are to where you want to be.

something that tall is probably heavy and needs heavy hinges. Talk to someone in your local home center or hardware store. You will need three hinges to support something that size. Don't forget to purchase a latch too!

Your gate is very tall compared to it's width, and you don't say what it is made out of. Different types of hinges are good for different things. I'd go to a Home Depot, Lowe's or a farm supply store and ask what they recommend. Take a picture of it on your phone so they can see what you are talking about. You will need space to install hinges on both the gate and the frame. Remember to ask about latches also.
