Sprinkle agricultural lime on your lawn. Breaks down the acid and any smell.

You could follow him around with a garden hose and water down where he pees at. That should thin it out enough that it wont kill the grass.

Urine is mostly urea (nitrogen) which burns your lawn. Adding lime to your lawn can help or adding brewer's yeast to your dog's diet can change the pH of his/her urine. Applying lots of water will help as well.

I second the spraying of his pee spots with water. One thing though-you might want to have your vet check his PH. If it is between 6 and 6.5 it shouldn't be killing your grass.
