Every time it rains, dirt from the garden splatters onto the siding of the house; how can I prevent that? Thank you.

Either move your garden or pray it doesn't rain. Mother Nature is at work here and she usually wins.

Spread a layer of pea gravel next to the house and at least 12" out from the house. We did this next to our old barn and the dirt is not splattering anymore. It takes a lot of gravel, though!

i have used river rock on one part of my house. I love the look and it helps it drain away from your foundation. I have also used mini pine bark mulch. Later I planted a few bushes.

Have a good edging of rocks placed all along the edge of your house. About ten inches in width will work. A good nursery that also does landscaping should have rocks that will look good with your house. Shouldn't cost too much for them to install and it will look great. I'm in Lafayette, LA and most people have this. It rains here a lot really hard!
