good question. This is a math problem. I am not good at math.
The best way is to start at the bottom. This will be the most important tier. Make sure whatever product you use that it is sturdy here before you move upward.
Start at the bottom height and build up excess soil at the next level till you reach top. I did exactly this on a garden that not only sloped from front to back ,but also from side to front.
