Is it necessary to line a fire pit with fire brick?

Cement blocks will crack if used in a fire pit. You need to line your pit with fire bricks.Helpful Reply -

You can use cinder blocks for a fire pit but they have to be fire-rated. This information should be available on the in-store product description or manufacturer’s website. Good luck!Helpful Reply -
