How can I protect a metal bird bath from rusting?
My bird bath is metal and the water is causing it to rust is there something i can spray it to prevent the rusting and needs to be safe for birds and animals

Check with a local hardware store for a clear sealant, preferably in a spray.
As long as it's not flaking I'm sure it's not too harmful for the birds. They likely drink out of worse than that. But if you want to be certain you can scrub it with a wire brush and then paint the interior with a rust blocking paint that can withstand prolonged water exposure.
