Put a board or something to cover the doorway opening. Put hinges on the roof wood and turn it into a storage container. You can paint it to complement your outdoor décor and put it where it will be used to store gardening supplies, seat cushions, etc. Make sure that it is not leaking so that what you put in there stays dry. Silicone around any leaky seams should stop it.
Unless you really want to keep it, consider offering it to local animal rescues (not public shelter). Many private rescues would be delighted to receive a useable shelter. Depending on its size, people who care for feral cats might really want it. Most private rescues are charities, so, you may be able to deduct its value at tax time.
hinge the top for garden storage or back yard toys
I would donate it to a non-profit or no kill shelter... they will sanitize it and use it where they need it.
thanks
How about turning it into a gnome house. Get some gnomes, decorate the outside of the dog house and instant gnome home.
Love the gnome house idea
