Apply topsoil, lime, seed ,starter fertilizer and apply peat moss
You can seed and lime at the same time.
We live in Maryland and my husband always limes in the early Spring, then he'll lime again in the fall. After the Spring lime, he always puts a fertilizer on to balance the PH. We have the most beautiful green lawn and he says Never ever mow close. Its better to raise the blade for a higher cut. Hope this info., is helpful.
