I used just gravel at one point but the grass grew over it so it's kinda half and half and it's hard to keep looking neat so I want to concrete it over.

We installed a path using pavers a few months ago. It is great to be able to haul wood back and forth from the woodshed without walking in mud or wet grass. First off decide what shape you want. Ours is curved. We used octagone shaped pavers and just laid them over gravel and sand. Got a $30 blade from Lowe's to cut the pavers on the edge to make a flat or smooth edge. Make sure you make it wide enough that two people can pass each other easily.

We had a long pea gravel driveway and I agree the upkeep of weeds/ vegetation was a nightmare to maintain. We tried weed burning with a weed dragon propane torch, and spraying with vegetation killer.

Finally we upgraded and had a contractor install a concrete driveway. They escavated out the area built wood forms and placed the mortar. I cant imagine being without it. I think you will be happy— if its in your budget.

If you want to save on the expense of putting down concrete, mix a batch of 1 tablespoon dish liquid, 2 cups of vinegar and two cups of water and spray on the weeds. This should kill them off. This is much cheaper than pouring concrete. This mix will also kill grass so only put it where you need to.
