Dogs eating my hostas!

Anyone have any ideas on how to keep my dogs from eating my hostas? No - they don't make them sick, instead they east them like it they were prize treats planted just for them! I've tried every dog repellent I could fine, moth balls, moth crystals and cayenne pepper. Nothing works! Help!

A friend of mine uses Irish Spring bar soap to ward off deer. They don't like the scent. I don't know if it would work for dogs, but it would be better than getting rid of your pets.

Oh I'm not getting rid of my pets for sure! I'm not getting rid of the hostas either LOL! I will give the Irish Spring a try because I actually do use this for my garden and it works well for the deer. Thank you!! :-)

Aww no don't want to get rid of your fur babies!! I have 2 great big loves here and my 105 lb boy loved to kill plants, NO idea why...BUT he hates, really hates to be squirted with water. SO I keep a spray water bottle near the back door and when he goes near the plant or thing (he also has chewed on fencing and trees 🙄) I would squirt him a bit. NOW if he's just sees the bottle he runs...he also doesn't chew my plants anymore at all. He will turn 4 soon so hopefully this will be over...

Put 4 parts water to 2 parts caster oil in a spray bottle. Spray your plants. Your beloved dogs should leave them alone.
