How do you plant ranunculus bulbs so squirrels won't eat them?

Mtn girl on Sep 28, 2014I put a small wire cage around the bulb before planting. Make sure the wire mesh is just wide enough for the shoots to get thru.Helpful Reply

Jane Bowers on Sep 28, 2014Sprinkle cayenne pepper on them before planting and sprinkle a little around the soil after planting. Squirrels don't like cayenne pepper!Helpful Reply
