Your yard has lumps all over from moles....It has been a world wide issue
Organic matter in your lawn is important for dealing with this problem. Adding compost or organic matter as a top dressing is a great start. You should be aerating the lawn on a yearly basis as well. Dethatching can be done every two years, and maintaining the right moisture levels will help as well. Water deeply when watering and less frequently, as opposed to watering shallowly and more often. An inch of water applied every week works best. You can apply sand to your lawn since dew worms do not like crawling on the rough sand. Good luck!!
This species of earthworms are more common on older, shady, or heavily watered lawns. I suggest dethatching and aerating your lawn.
