How do you kill tree roots/stump
Crepe Myrtle tree was cut down years ago but small trees keep coming up from roots left behind. Any thing I can put on or in it to kill the tree stump.

I drill big holes in them, and salt them with coarse salt.
If these trees are alive, I would hesitate to do anything to the root system, it is what is anchoring the tree in place and giving it life. If you compromise the roots, it could be pushed over in a strong wind storm or lots of heavy rain, resulting in property damage or injury if close to anything.
If they are dead, cut them down.
For the exposed roots, have you considered adding soil and filling in with plants or put down grass. Maybe even a retaining wall around the circumference of the trunk and past the roots that are exposed, backfill with dirt and plants-could be very attractive.
