How to keep away rats and their companions from my garden

Rats and their companions continue to dig holes in my garden and its surrounding wall which has caused the "protecting" to spill.

    Your going to have to put traps around.There are many bait traps available at home improvement centers.

      There is know other way but to keep putting poison down. The only other suggestion I can think of is if you have holes by a foundation u can seal them up with spray foam.

    I get mice in my bottom kitchen cabinets. I put peppermint oil on cotton balls and it keeps the mice away. Maybe you could put some peppermint oil one cotton balls and spread them around you garden. Maybe the peppermint plant would work also

    RATS...GET EXTERMINATOR! Keeping animals out of garden plant Marigolds around edge of garden.

    Can you get an outdoor cat? If weather doesn't permit totally outdoor cat, get one that is indoor/outdoor like mine are, (no indoor litterbox). It/ they go outside like a dog does, but are allowed inside house also.
