for the weeds in the pavers make a solution of white vinegar and water 50/50 a dab of soap and a dab of salt.for the balance of the garden smother the weeds out with newspaper, cardboard and heavy landscape fabric and top with mulch
What Janet said! Although I am not a fan of landscape fabric. I use cardboard, that will break down and you don’t have to mess with again, and lots and lots of mulch.

Here is an extremely simple fix. Pour boiling hot water on the weeds. It will kill the plant and the roots. Since you only want it to kill what is between the pavers, use a kettle or pitcher so you can control where you pour the water.
