Squash bug invasion

As I was doing my daily inspection of my now Beautiful Pumpkin vines I came across a few adult squash bugs. My husband began checking the underside of the leaves to find a few clusters of eggs. I know where there is one squash bug seen there are many hidden. I SO want to be rid of these guys before they kill my pumpkins and move on to the watermelons and other squash. I dont want to use Sevin or harsh chemicals because there are a whole lot of bees pollinating and I dont want to kill them or any other benificials. HELP me please!! I thought I was going to have a squash bug free season.

You could try putting diatomaceous earth around the base of the plants, a method that is organic certified. You could also trying putting boards around the base. Squash bugs will congregate under the boards during the night and then can be collected and destroyed the next morning.

  @Douglas Hunt Hi Douglas! Where would I find diatomaceous earth? I put boards out last night and found no bugs under them this morning. They see me trying to hand pick them out and hide from me so Im going to vacume them out when I get home after work.

Dish soap and water in a squirt bottle. Every day go spray them bugs. Won't hurt your plant at all.
