Marigolds, peppermint (can be an aggressive grower and take over if not careful). Basil, Sage, and Catnip (only if you love cats!) are all supposed to naturally repel mosquitos.

I use the citronella geraniums. They are an attractive plant in larger pots and don't take any care. If you use catnip, sage or peppermint plant them in strategically placed pots unless you don't mind them taking over your garden or wherever you want to put them.
