Will cayenne pepper repel rabbits?

not sure but Blood meal will repel them. Bought at most DIY stores and Walmart

I have good luck with it for rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks. I also put down grated Irish spring bar soap for those that the heat from the powder doesn't bother them. The pepper powder needs to be renewed after rain and when it loses its effectiveness, the soap does last longer so it doesn't need to be reapplied as frequently. I get the large shakers of the cayenne pepper powder at Sam's Club and it lasts a while. All you can do is try it and see if it works with your rabbits.

The rabbits will take offense to the smell and stay far away. Don’t worry – it doesn’t smell bad to humans. Both items will need to be reapplied after rain or heavy watering.

Mix 2 tablespoons of cayenne pepper, 2 tablespoons of garlic powder, and a squirt of dish detergent with 20 ounces of warm water. Shake the mixture well to incorporate.
