I need an easy way to make a walkway along my back porch

I need an easy way to make a walkway along my back porch to the back entry. The area is in deep shade and slow to dry out in wet weather. Right now it has pea gravel held in place with 6 ft. long garden timbers, but weeds keep poking through even though I put down black landscape cloth under the pea gravel. I am a 'senior', so this needs to be really easy!

I can only suggest using something like "Roundup". I have the same problem, and although the ads for "Roundup" say that it will last for 12 months, it actually lasts about 8 months at best. When I started, I sprayed "Roundup", put down a layer of cardboard, a layer of black landscape cloth, and covered all that with 3 inches of red rubber mulch, and again sprayed "Roundup". I knew that no weeds would be able to grow up from under the cardboard or black landscape cloth, but the weed seeds will get into the much, pea gravel, or any thing else used for cover. You just have to keep spraying, or pulling the weeds as they grow.

Artificial grass - just lay it there.

There is a product called Ground clear that works miracles. You just need to be sure that it doesn't get on any plants you want to keep near the walkway.

I like the look of stepping stones with moss planted around the stones, you can diy your stepping stones in any shape you want with quick set concrete and a mold (giant leafs make great molds too).

Put on chemical gloves and goggles. Then spray the weeds that pop up.
