Tile flooring for a small patio

I live in a condo which has a small outdoor patio. I want to add a tile floor to the patio. Is it better to use a small tile or large tile? What kind of tile is best to use? (it is covered but exposed to the elements.) Thank you.

Concrete pavers are a great inexpensive way to make a cozy area outside!

You can get (Home Depot and Lowe's) interlocking wood "flooring" pieces. They look like small teak pallets to keep you out of any water (rain or otherwise) standing on your patio. I really hope this posting make sense to someone besides me. (I worked with elementary school students for 22 years so sometimes I explain things on theirl evel!)

makes perfect sense to me. The ones I looked at fit together kinda like puzzle pieces.

Hello. If the area is smaller I would go with smaller tiles. Bigger ones may make it look smaller.

You can buy recycled tire rubber tiles at HD or Lowes. They would be perfect for a patio outside. You don't have to worry about them getting wet.

Before you do anything - do you own your condo? If not, get permission from the landlord. If you do own the condo - do you need to get permission from the board or management company?
