Hi Mary,
It looks like a combination of techniques with pros and cons, this should help clear up your project.

If you want fast--a spray gun--but then you have to tape off all the windows and trim. If you have more time--a paint brush--don't have to tape off the windows and trim.
Unless you have experience with a spray gun, I don't recommend it. Takes practice and will look awful if you have "runs" and "drips" from not moving the spray gun quickly enough. The conditions have to be "perfect" NO WIND, or you make bigger messes. Having overspray because you misjudged is not attractive!
A sprayer will be quicker.
Spray is going to give you a better, more even coverage. It is quite a bit of prep work covering trim and doors and windows plus anything around the ground or foundation.
If you are good at spray painting then Spray, but if you are like me inexperienced, I would try a small area until I felt competent. I have painted myself and realized you have to do it all in one go without stopping from top to bottom on each side otherwise you will be able to see where you began again. (Not a good look). I would prefer to call the proffessionals to give be a price and time it would take before I decided to do it again myself. If nothingelse it wil make your are and shoulder ache if you do it yourself!
A spray gun is fastest but if you don't own one a roller and brush will do the job just might take longer.
A spray gun will go faster, but keep in mind you will have to thin the paint you want to use and apply more coats to cover.
Hi Mary, you can do either, but spraying is definitely faster. It's about the same prep work, taping and putting pater over windows, hope this helps you.
