Can leather sofa and 2 chairs be used as outdoor furniture.

I have a leather sofa with matching chairs that have literally gone to the dogs. The smaller dogs initially used them, not a big deal. Then along came the Chocolate Lab, after him was a really, really big Irish Wolfhound. Because of their size they did need the cushioning to lie on but now almost 20 years of abuse the leather is worn away and everything smells like a dirty dog. Is there anything I can spray paint them with to make them outdoor friendly.

Since they are in such bad condition you seem to want to get rid of them anyway, so I say put them outdoors for the dogs in an area that has a roof over it (porch, barn, gazebo). If you expose them to rain, sun, snow etc they won't last long at all. Go get some new furniture!!

You can paint it, but I would still suggest getting a plastic cover for the furniture for when it rains, just because leather furniture is not really made for the outdoors.
