Krylon Fusion is made for plastic. Bonds to plastic in a molecular level. Several light coats will give you a smooth finish.Helpful Reply -

First make sure your furniture is clean, pressure wash or use a scrub brush... rinse really well and let dry completely. The Krylon Fusion primer and paint is made for good adhesion on plastic.Helpful Reply -

Stay away from Latex paint. It doesn't penetrate, but only lays on top and will chip almost immediately. I found this on Amazon, Lowe's, and Home Depot. Krylon Fusion for Plastic. Works a treat!Helpful Reply -

Yes those work great but always primer 1st with proper primer even if it is an all in one. I also prep clean it before & sand smooth any rough edges with a soft sponge sanding block 220 grit.Helpful Reply -

I found when spraying painting old plastic outdoor chairs that the quality of the paint job depends somewhat on the prep. A light sanding will give the paint something to hold onto. Be sure to wash it down after sanding and let it dry overnight before painting. Several light coats is MUCH better then a heavy coat to avoid runs and give you a more professional result.Helpful Reply -
