I want to re-do, paint a lovely Stanley buffet/chest
I have a real good Stanley chest/buffet that I want to use in my White living room, but, it needs to be White. Help me transform very inexpensively. Thx
I would probably use milk paint and a pickling wax on top. You might have to sand the chest a bit but milk paint is pretty forgiving. Maybe a pale blue milk paint. Check out Miss Mustard Seed website for some ideas of how the finish would look.

I would use a 50/50 mix of basic white paint and water and just give it a good white wash.
Sand, paint with three layers of white chalk paint, antique and trim as you like, seal with your choice of glosses. Enjoy ☺️
You can sand off the top finish and use .Vinager with steel wool added, wait a day and paint it on, as it dries you will get that driftwood look, if you want it to be a little whiter when dry dilute down white flat craft paint with 2 times as much water and wipe it on.
