Cath windmueller on Jan 11, 2016Perhaps buying a bed skirt with slits on each corner so it will drape down to the floor would help disguise it's hospital bed appearance. I believe spray painting the metal frame and some fresh lovely bedding would also make it look less sterile. Please post a photo of before and after when you've completed the project. Good luck.Helpful Reply

Cherie on Jan 11, 2016First of all, I'm so sorry for your loss! I would suggest you create a day-bed effect by pushing the length of the bed next to the wall so that the wall becomes the back of the "couch". Select a cover that makes it look more like a couch, and use big pillows for back support. Good luck!Helpful Reply

U can do the same with a twin size ,then add a bedskirt and comforter.I put this one on risers and made the bed skirt...its easy......Its all in the guest room now and looks great On a hospital bed work with fabric much like u would cover an ottoman or a couch..cover both headboard an footboard then drape around that with the bed skirt...U can make it work Help answer this question...Helpful Reply
