How can I Mod Podge photos onto a table?

I am making my son an old school desk and table for Xmas. I wanted to use real photo's of him and friends and him skating as well as regular skateboard stickers and logo's. Can this be done using Mod Podge without having to transfer the photos onto the wood? Can I just Mod Podge onto the real photo's and stickers without them being wrecked? And is there a type of Mod Podge you recommend for this as there are over 17 types, lol TIA

Give it a try! I've modpodged wallpaper, newspaper, magazines etc.and they all work just fine. I can't imagine it would ruin a photo...certainly wouldn't make it run or tear..nor do I think it would curl. Other than that, what could happen? I've always used just the original ModPodge I should add...good luck! Sounds like a personal, fun project!!

I would copy the picture on to regular paper. Mod Podge works better on thinner paper.

I mod podged photos onto tiles for coasters so I don't see why you couldn't do it on a table. Just make sure you put several coats of mod podge on top before you put the sealer on to seal the edges of the photos.
