I so thank you for the information! I could have used it years ago but couldn't find it on the internet. Got so frustrated I thought, why not paint one on but it would not be the same.

  • http://www.ansaldi.com/default.htm That specific piece has been discontinued but they have a great selection of Brass hardware.

    thanks for the info!

  • Was just thinking that maybe you could use something like cardboard and trace one then cut it out and spray paint it. Of course the real deal would be best but this cheap method might be worth trying.

I was so excited about this site. About 40 years ago we bought a lot of teak furniture in Taipei. I love it, but our house was flooded and one of the drawer handles with elaborate backplate was destroyed by rough handling (you have to hire all sorts of people to help you and we got an idiot who couldn't care less about other people's possessions). Anyway, I have searched for that for many years without success. We cannot even use that drawer because it doesn't have a pull. We could rig something ugly up to make it usable, but I would never be happy with that. Unfortunately, that piece is not on that site. probably too old to still be in use, but I will keep looking.

Thanks for finding this link though.
