Can indoor brass light fixture be painted for outdoors with Rustoleum?

    Yes. Clean the brass and lightly scuff it or use an etching product so the paint will adhere better. Will you be mounting it in a weather protected area? if not, then the fixture may not be suitable for outdoor use. Check to make sure no water will be able to leak into the fixture or junction box.

      Thanks, will not use electrical wire, utilize with solar or votive lights.

    The quick and the short answer. Almost any light can be painted with restoleum. Outdoor lights are made to withstand the elements. True brass will tarnish, but it can withstand the elements .

      Thanks, will use outdoors with votive candles. Main concern if painted surface adheres and doesn't peel.
