Wash down areas you wish to paint with TSP, paint with chalk paint, I recommend Rustoleum brand because it is easy and reasonable priced. Put on Rustoleum chalk paint clear top coat. If doing top of table, do several top coats.
Hello Helen! Yes you can just paint your table legs and chair legs white and leave the wood table top and wood chair seats. I would use chalk pain and use a water based poly as a finish coat for durability. Sounds like a fun project!
