I nuse foam rollers and foam brushes. No streaks, brush marks. At least three coats of a water based polyurethane. I have been known to put down up to six coats for a glass like finish.

Jackie,. Use an electric sander. If you don't have one, you can rent one for s small fee. You'll have to leave a deposit. Home Depot and Lowe's rent them out. Aloha!

  • I would suggest keeping your brush damp by spraying it with water between dipping into the paint. You can also sand between coats with 220 grit sand paper.

Try adding floetrol to your paint. It helps level the paint for a smooth, clean finish.
